“Throw Them All Out!” Leaders Demand Nairobi County Be Dissolved Over Rot and Cartels

Nairobians pay billions but get garbage, floods, and insecurity. Now activists want Governor Sakaja AND MCAs sent packing—calling City Hall a cartel-run Monopoly board!

Former MCA Peter Warutere and KBT’s Cyprian Namwamu say Nairobi is a hot mess of broken promises, uncollected trash, and shady deals. They accuse Sakaja of running the city from private offices while cartels choke services.

The duo is rallying Nairobians to sign a petition—10% of voters—to dissolve the entire county government. Their message? Flush out the rot, kick out the cartels, and elect leaders who’ll actually work for the people.
