Jahmani aka J'mani was born Jasper Mbaka on 14th April 1987. J'mani started his career at Starehe Boys Centre where he schooled, through the Insyder magazine events. His first big hit was 'Haters' feat. Kantai.
Jahmani finds inspiration in life experiences and cites a Channel O gig in 2008 at Carnivore as one of his best musical experiences. He won the Best Male Artist Award in CHAT 2005.
